Trying out my Macro Setup

Trying out my Macro Setup

Hope ya'll don't mind my post...

This is my first attempt at Macro Photography, so bear with me...

Images were taken using this equipment

Canon EOS 20D
Canon EOS/FD Adapter
Canon Auto Bellows
Canon F1.4 50mm Lens (Non-Macro)

I recently got the EOS/FD Adapter, I had bought the Bellows for my A1/F1 setups and never used it. Had to try it out.

This was on the glass, it is just a spec...

This is a picture of a new anthalia stalk, the head is about 3/16" across...

This is a picture of a smaller anthalia stalk head is less than 1/8" across...

Thats my luck so far...

I have several macro lenses to play with as well, a macro ring light, a lens reversal ring and a few other gadgets... I think I am addicted?

Ok, now I am just green with envy! I need better lenses!

Its hard to choose between that new coral, or a new lense...The coral ALWAYS wins hehe.

Fortunately I was in to cameras before I got in to Corals. I have a rather large selection of the older Canon FD lenses, and ran across an "almost affordable" orginal Canon adapter to let me use them on my Canon 20D digital.

I am not sure why I decided to try it on the aquarium tonight, but the decision must have been a good one. I popped on to reef central and there this thread was, just waiting for me :)

Thanks for sharing!

Rich
