It's not the lens. It looks like there's a hair and some dust on the sensor.

Are you shooting perpendicular to the glass? I would also use a smaller aperture to get some DOF in there.

Beautiful images! Like the others, I think adding more DOF will increase your clarity. But it's a most excellent star!
