MacroAlgea for Fuge

Guys,
I just rebuilt my tank last weekend and have had the LR "curing" for about a week now. I was wondering if anyone could bring some Macro algea clipings to the Frag Seminar that I could throw into my new fuge? Perhaps some Cheto?

Well, I guess I would say as much as you can spare, but to give you an idea of where i'll be putting it. The fuge chamber is about 6 gallons or so in my sump. So I don't think It'll take much to get me started as the stuff will grow quickly.

Yeah, Thanks Spooda. I looked at the cheato really closely and noticed that there really was quite a bit of pods in there. I'm preaty happy about that.

aint no thing, but a chicken wing.... do a google on it, I know the more light you give it the faster it grows... kill the starfish that are in it dont let any of them get into the display....

What kind of star fish are they?

killer starfish.... i dont recall the name... starts with an 'a' maybe... short term memory loss....

I just bought a clip on shop light today. I found a cheap GE Daylight compact fluorescent, one of those spiral shaped things. Its rated at 6500K, and runs on 26W. Hoping that this will be a nice cheap option I can use. Got 2 bulbs for like $7.

That'll work. Melev says 5100K is the best, but what you have will work.

I ran mine under a HD spotlight for a while and it grew fine... no worries.
