Madarine Goby

Hi I purchased a Madarine Goby on Friday and he has been in the back of tank behind a rock the whole time is this normal? I can see him moving around but he stays in the back..

Mine hid for a week or two before it became braver and ventured out into open areas where I could see it more.

I just picked on up on the 4th and I only occationally see him. There's about 120lbs of LR with lots of caves and opening. As long as he's moving around and picking at the LR, then it's normal and don't be alarmed.

Is it ok to have a few of these in a 125 gal.? I know it has to be a mature tank with plenty of "pods" fo them to much on, but seeing a few of these fish in a mixed reef tank would be purdy!!

Not an expert as I've only ever had 1 at a time, but I believe if you're going to have 2 then they need to be male/female.
