Mag 5 or Mag 7

I'm in the market for a used Mag 5 or Mag 7 to boost my Aqua C skimmer if anyone has one available?

Which Aqua C skimmer do you have. I have the one equivalent to the EV 120 which is the smallest in sump one available and use a Mag 7. They recommended the Mag 5 but the Mag 7 does a much better job. Thanks for the info on DR. Mac's. I checked it out yesterday and purchased a few things that I will pick up on my way home. Thanks again. Michael R

I've actually got the HOB model Pro. The Mag 3 does an ok job but I think I'd get better results with a little more pressure behind it.

Thank Kaptain Ken for Dr. Mac's he made me so curious about it I had to visit. Very well worth it too.

i have the regular HOB remora skimmer and currently using a maxi 1200...

i was thinkn about upgrading to the mag 3... i emailed aquac about it to see if that would improve the results any but i'm still waiting on a response.

anyways, i have an extra mag 7 i might not be using, so if you wanted to do a trade + little bit of cash, let me know

I didn't do the upgrade from the Maxi 1200. I purchased mine used off E Bay which already had the mag 3 and I think you'll be very happy with it.
I've started using phyto and increased feeding so I need something a little larger and the 7 would be ideal .
