MagFlake group buy?

Any interest in trying to find a source for MagFlake and doing a group buy? It's only around $15 for a 50lb bag if you can even find it, so maybe if someone knows where to get it we can pick up a few bags.
Last winter it was available at a Sears Hardware Store in Newark, DE. Since there are members from all over the state, maybe someone knows another place to get it.

That's cool. I'll take 2 bags and be set for life...lol. Since your only in Pittston, I can meet you at PetZone to pick it up whenever you can get it.

Ok, Update: I just went down there today because I had to grab some stuff. They told me that I could only order a pallet of the Mag flake. I will have to call their head office, because they let me take other stuff by the single bag. The price per bag for the pallat price was $14 a bag, Im sure its going to be a bit higher but probably no more higher than 17 or so a bag. Also they charge me a 1 time $5 dollar fuel surcharge just to pick it up. I can spread that out by the number of how many people want bags, say 4 bags $1.25 more each person


I dont know if I will be going to the swap. If I do, I will see If i can use my brothers pick up to go out there.

I will let everyone know when it gets close, also take a head count on bags.

If the local ( to me ) guys / gals want bags let me know and I will arrange to get some for you.

They also have old bags of the dow flake last time I was there. I didnt get a chance to look up the numbers on the bag to see if they were good or not. I will try next time I go there.

Thanks for the update. How many bags are in a pallet?

Depending on how many bags ppl request, since this stuff is also ice melter, maybe some locals can take a few extra bags to make up the difference in the pallet and use it to melt ice...lol.

I would even take 5 or 6 bags if it helped get a pallet. Ice melt was in demand after that last storm.
