Magnetic cleaner fix.

I just fixed my Mag-Float magnetic cleaner with a hammer. It appeared like it had lost it's magnetic force and was coming off all the time. This may apply to other brands as well.

It took a while to find out what was going on but finally I found out it had become warped by almost undetectable amount bulging out in the center and allowing water to enter by the sides forcing it out.

Saved me 150$ and it's as good as new now

Did you use the wooden handle or the hammer side and how much force did you use?

can't you break the magnet and it's polarization by doing that?
