Magnificent fox face help

I have had this guy in qt now for 5 days since getting him. Loves to eat. But I woke up this morning to find these spots on his side. I've done my research on diseases but have not had to actually deal with any yet. Can I please have some insight on what this looks like and the treatment i should do please. All help is appreciated.

That is odd...As I'm sure you know, foxfaces change colors. I'm wondering if this isn't some sort of pigmentation anomaly related to that...

Is it still eating, breathing normally, etc.?

I been feeding him Omega one flakes, emerald cuisine, and mysis shrimp. As soon as they start to sink he is all over them. I couldn't get a picture of his tail. But there are a few white spots on it. The blotchy spots you see in these pictures have like a white bump in the middle. His breathing appears to be normal steady breaths. He does hide but from reading that is more normal then not with them. Yes he changes colors all the time to look like cameo. lol
I have cupramine and prazipro on the way for delivery tomorrow. Just want to treat with the correct medicine.

My magninficent foxface shows skin irritations at the slightest bump of rock, corals, or aggression from another fish. I don't know why. He heals very rapidly though and has no permanent discolorations or scars. Does it look like abrasions or dots like ich??

You can't see the white spots in the pictures but that is a bit more concerning. I have seen where many people treat prophylacticly with copper which is the cupramine but I have never done this myself. It doesn't appear to be ich which would indicate using the Tank Transfer Method and the prazi (you probably want to do this anyway)...

The tail spots look like ich but the spots on his body don't. He is in qt now luckily. It has a lot of pvc and some cups in his tank. Trying to get better pics

I can try tomm. Maybe. The whit spots came off of him just a little bit ago in what looked like a slime coat. My you could actually see it in the slime.
The white spots on his side look just black now. Almost like an abrasion

Looks like Cryptocaryon (marine ich) to me. IME, foxfaces develop the black-ringed areas when infected with the parasite. The presence of white spots pretty much confirms it. Fortunately, this fish is in quarantine and can be treated effectively. I personally recommend tank transfer for treatment as it is nearly 100% effective if executed properly. Check out the stickies at the top of this forum for more info.

Sounds like it was...
Do TTM (Tank Transfer Method)...it is the best way to ensure that you won't introduce ich into your DT...

Those spots only lasted a day. But I have started the cupramine treatment and will monitor him after its done for a few more weeks in QT. he is still eating well and was out in the tank more.
Guess hes not making the DT for xmass

My M. foxface is doing the same thing, but they go away. These guys are real jittery, every little movement I make by the tank he turns color. Right now I'm going through a TTM with him and man is he stressed. He's a beautiful fish though.

They are very pretty. Mine is taking the cupramine well. Still eating well and is getting used to movement by the tank.
