Main Pump

Hi everyone, I trust you had a good summer.

I need to replace my main circulation/return pump (currently a heat kicking older Reeflo that is in the process of spinning a bearing).

I'm willing to spend the money to get the following (in rough order of importance): Energy efficient, quiet, reliable, powerful, cool running.

Does anyone have suggestions, or better yet something used?

Submersible or external? gph at what head? Pressure rated?

Hi! External, Current pump is a Reeflo Sequence 4200 rated 2820 GPH @ 4 Ft (I'd like to stay here or go a little more powerful, but energy efficiency and noise are important), pressure rating is not necessary.

Aaron, unless you are going to a red dragon the reeflo pumps are at the top of the list in all your categories. Maybe one of the new Uno series or the Goby would be a good fit. The gold series ih higher performance and better efficiency as well.
