These popped up after I purchased some corals from a fellow reefer over the weekend. Will kalk paste work on these? Initial coral dip in iodine didn't take care of them.
Kalk paste should do the trick. Just keep an eye on them as sometimes it's not a total kill and you may need to do it again. I like to inject what ever I'm using inside them it works better. Don't let them spread its a nightmare. I've also used vinegar it seemed to work.

I agree and think they are one of the worst nuisances we as reef keepers encounter. If I get one in my tank I will even chip(frag)the rock it's on it even after the kalk I would superglue or epoxy dab the hole or crevice it's in kinds like smothering it out.
