Making out X-mas wish list....what would you get?

Hi All,

I know that there is a sticky out there regarding what you bought for your tank, but it is pretty large. I am just looking for ideas on what to add to my xmas tank wish list and wondering what all you would get?

So far I am looking at getting a new power head (one that moves and makes waves more than just pumping out water in the same area), along with a "multi-purpose" tool that looks like a fancy siphon to me.

My tank has been set up for about a year now so I have all the basics, but now looking to do some upgrades.

My list would be various corals, 2 vortec mp10s, all the stuff to make a rodi station, nicer light, another reactor, dosing pumps, lol endless list

Lower Priced Stuff:

A first class magnetic cleaner is nice. The Tunze Care magnets are nice and are very unlikely to scratch glass.

Test Kits (specify fresh ones) or meter

Coral putty & super glue

A decent thermometer.

A refractometer & calibration solution if you don't have one.

A subscription to Coral Magazine

A little air powered treasure chest with a skeleton pirate that pops out

I am just asking for gift cards - BRS or MD for supplies and gear (I really need a PAR meter of some sort), or DFS/ LA/ DD if they want to get me livestock.

A brief, broad lesson on livestock compatibility, chemical requirements, and required flow rates in an aquarium crossed enough eyes quick enough that gift cards with a Hallmark card designating what they are to be used for was happily accepted.

Refractometer, Wavemaker, controller, digital thermometer, RO/DI. Whatever you want, you could even say you want a school of fish.

I always try to think of luxuries / improvements of what I have, so that when I use them, I tend to remember the gift (and the giver).

In that spirit:

Nice coral frag kit
Nice (glass or lab grade plastic) measuring utensils, graduated cylinders, pipets, etc.
Refractometer
A few pieces of nice cutlery for preparing live/frozen food
Hand cart or dolly for moving water jugs around (if this applies)
