I'm in the middle of light acclimating some zoo's I recieved. A few minutes ago I moved the colonies up a little higher in the water column. This was a complete disaster. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. One of the colones came loose from the piece of LR it was glued to. I repeatedly dropped the colonies due to my really crappy grabbing device (I don't like sticking my hands in my tank). And of course each time I dropped something it fell on another zoo colony and/or landed up side down. Despite all this every colony has started opening up w/ some haveing everyone open after only a few minutes past the disasterous move.
I had heard many places that zoo's were really tough corals. This is part of the reason why I chose them for my first real corals. So far these guys are really earning their reputation.
