Mangrove dying?

Is my mangrove seedling dying? The roots look healthy, but why is the tip browning?

How can I help it.

i'm not an expert, but you should have the tip out of the water, I would think.

You can't submerge them like that. They will die within hours. Looks like that one is dead already.

Really? The guy told me to do that and have the roots in the sand. So is it really dead for sure or should I have it out of the water and see if there's still hope?:|

I have mangroves in my drain section and the head is above water...If you float the mangrove pod the roots will eventually grown down towards the sand

Although, the lfs had it submerged. I saw it in there for weeks. I decided to buy it after I knew what it really was. Lol. It wasn't brown then though. The tank they had it submerged in was also only about 12inches deep maybe less.

That's too bad. I guess this is just one of those situations where you should have done a little more research before/after purchasing. No offense, obviously, we have all been there. I recommend reading Giga's thread, you'll learn a lot.
