Mangrove Nano, its still alive...

Wanted to post an update on my little nano since I just recently have gotten some new goodies for it ( and will get more gf permitting haha ).

I had a pair of snowflakes, unfortunately the female... well she just completely vanished, never found a body. So I tried getting my male a new girl friend... bad idea, she beat him up so bad I had to take her back. For a replacement I decided to just go with a docile Firefish. Now everyone is happy. In addition to the fish I got some new corals. Made an Gravity Fed Auto Top Off which I'm going to be sizing up... little water bottle isn't working so well. In the process of making a lid as well... hence the duct taped netting.

Livestock:
Snowflake Clown
Firefish
Peppermint Shrimp
Cleaner Shrimp
3x Nassarius Snails
3x Astraea Turbo Snail

Corals:
Green Ricordia Mushroom
Orange Acans
GSP
Torch coral
Zoas (never happy in the tank, not sure if they will make it)

Got a blue montipora! If it makes it, it will be a miracle cuz I royally messed up! First, setting the coral up to get acclimated the bag tipped over and almost all the water spilled out... so had to immediately fill with my aquarium water... since it was already screwed anyway, waited about 10 minutes and put the coral in the tank, put it at the bottom at first, but I figured the Reef Monsters had it right under their radion, so I moved it up... FINALLY now its looking good.

Rock falls over and knocks coral off plug and chips it.

Needless to say, was a bit steamed at this point... just set it up on the shelf. I'm done messing with it, hope it does well then I'll try mounting it again in a couple days. ARgh :(

Smallest head on torch gone when I turned on lights this morning, kinda makes me want to replace it now since it's still too big and taking up too much real estate.

Nice tank! I like the mix of macro algae and the reef aspect with the mangroves. Btw, I believe that the blue monti you speak of is actually a blue chalice (echinopora) to be more specific.
