mangroves anyone?

Anyone around have any experience with mangroves? I've been thinking about putting some in my fuge for some time. I set up another 29 for LPS. The system is going to run skimmerless/fugeless, so I'm thinking it would be the perfect place to grow some of these. I have a 250 12k reeflux as lighting. Is this light spectrum acceptable for growth? Love to hear your stories.

I have about 20 mangrove pods in my 45 pentagon. I use a 6500k 175w, but what you have should be fine. Most plants prefer light in the 3000k- 6500k range but I have lots of plants in my reef and they are thriving under 14k. I have had mine for about 6mos. they were about 17" and now they're about 20". Just a couple more inches and they will break the surface. Just in the past few months have they really took hold, now their roots are firmly imbeded. My seahorses love hanging around pickin pods from the tangled roots. My 45 is ran through the same sump as my 70g reef and my 90g community, so it is an excellent nutrient exporter also.
