mangroves

I want to grow a couple of mangroves in my fuge. I read that it is possible to grow them with a 40 watt plant grow light from home depot. I also want to grow macro and caulerpa. Would a 40 watt plant growth light work for these as well? Should i scratch the plant growth light and do something different like PCs? My problem is how would i suspend a PC fixture high enough above the fuge to keep from burning the mangroves. Also, what kind of substrate do i need? My fuge is not quite operational yet, but soon.

I am running twin 48 inch 40 watt NO plant bulbs over my 140 gallon refugium with mangroves and maco algae and it works just fine. My set up is about 8 months old and they have showed growth the whole time.
