Mantis compatibility question

What is compatible with a mantis shrimp? Is a peppermint safe? What about a berghia nudibranch? I have a snail and a mantis in a 2.5G and have a serious aiptasia issue. I guess it's not horrible if they don't sting mantis shrimp or snails and everything looks fine in the tank. I don't know if it's bad or if it's okay to have a tank overloaded with aiptasia with just those things in it or not. Any suggestions? I know Joe's juice, but I'm looking toward natural means and it would take a lot of it to work. Do mantis eat peppermint shrimps?

most definitely, if yours is a smasher. I am not sure if he is a spearer though. He may be a little strange if he has left alone a snail.
I use to have one that even smashed the thermometer housing. He also loved cokctail shrimps.

yeah strange that he had left the snail alone, must be getting food source somewhere else. and mojao is certainly correct the peppermint would be a cocktail shrimp for the manits. He would enjoy the snack. i have three damels in with my mantis and he has left them alone for over a year, but he is target feed really well.
