mantis dilemma....

While on the hunt for what I believe to be a mantis in my 33gallon I placed all my corals and anemone in one bucket(while I dipped the live rock in fresh water). Sure enough, the banging came from the bucket with the corals!!!!Now what? I have all my softies and one entacmaea quadricolor seperated into two buckets (in hope of narrowing it down a little) but once I know what bucket it's in I have no idea how to get the mantis out of the rock. I've been able to sucsessfully dip mushrooms in freshwater without problems but am unsure if the other corals(leather, star polyps, clove polyps, button polyps) can handle it. The anemone has it's foot on a flat area so I could carefully dip the rock up to that point. Anyone got any suggestions....

Depending on what it is I may set up another 5gallon and keep it. There are a couple of stores in our area that also sell mantis shrimp but....if no one wants it and I don't end up killing the thing in my attempts to get it out of the rock we can chat about shipping.

That thing should come flying out in fresh water.... I poured some in my tank once...only a little for top off and he went nuts flying around the tank...

just so most of you are aware it is legal to ship, but not across country lines. If you would consider shipping, I know plenty of fellow canucks that would gladly pay the shipping.
