my mantis has been trying to smash the bottom of the tank after digging all the way down to the bottom. should i be worried?

How big is the mantis, how big is the tank and what material is the tank? If he has already been trying to smash it and has failed I'm guessing he won't be able to and it will be okay.

yeah you should be fine. mine stays on the bottom and have had him over a year in a 10 gallon.
