Mantis Shrimp`

I think I might have a mantis shrimp in my tank. Does anyone know how I can tell for sure?

Really quick clicking sounds and last night for no apparent reason my tank was stirred up really bad.

Could be a mantis or a pistol. Have you added anything new recently?

Yeah live rock last week! I told my LFS they should lend me the trap since they sold it to me and they said I have to buy it ... after I have spent like 300 bucks there last week alone! I am ****ed.

As long as you have been in the hobby you should know that sometimes the bad comes with the good. I doubt very much the LFS knew it was in there so I wouldn't be blaming them.

I just know how to run a business and thats not a good way.

Trap probably won't work anyway. We ended up having to take our tank apart completely and threw away the rock we believed it was living in to get rid of the mantis, after he ate 5 fish.

Don't let the problem go on.
