mantle extension?

what is the normal mantle extension of the Tri? just courious mine seems to change if the flow is slightly changed. the current flow is appx. 2-3" per second. REEF-ON!

Highly variable depending on species and conditions. For example, crocea can reach way out and completely obscure its shell from above, while hippopus' mantle never extends past the edge of the shell.
