Manual ORP Calibration on ACIII

I have packets of 400mv calibration solution. Is there a procedure that will allow me to do a manual single-point calibration on an ORP probe?

Thanks,

Bill

Go to the second display of self test screen. It should say passed #XXXX at the bottom. Press the up button twice, the down button twice, and then the select button. You should now be in the manual cal menu. Scroll to the ORP manual cal. Adjust the offset up or down so that your probe reads 400 when in the run display.

What is the 400mv calibration solution ?

I have an ORP calibration kit with ph 4 I think (might be 7 or 10 though) plus quinhydrone.

Is this supposed to make a 400mv solution ?

No, the quinhydrone & pH 4.0 makes 275 ORP cal solution, and quinhydrone & pH 7.0 makes 90 mV ORP cal sol.

but the procedure will be the same right ?

I can use qh + ph 4 and adjust manually to 275 mV ?

I assume that calibrating to 275 leaves the desired 350 range a bit further away but do you think I'll still get a decent accuracy level at 350 ?

How do I make 400mV solution ?
