Marco Rocks?

I know Mike and Dani have used them with great success but i was wondering what others think of their rock.
Also. What do you need to do to this rock before putting it in the tank. Other than a quick rinse do i need to do anything else?

yes my lfs has tons of it and it sells fast and works very well . i honestly think that it will clog faster than some of my very porous LR and creat old tank syndrom but it is everywhere and very price worthy too .i just like very porous rock personaly

I replaced all my rock with marco rock last summer and while I'm just now getting some color on the rocks, it's done wonderfully. The rock I got was large pieces and it was nice being able to sit down with it and build the structure on cardboard prior to getting it in the water. I had run the tank fallow due to marine velvet and just pulled the old rock out and pretty much put the new in after rinsing.

If I remember right, Marc is running a shipping special right now as well.

Gary - did you have any kind of cycle with it?

I have them and really like them. It will take a while to get some color on them but the rock is failry porous and has lot of holes for flow and hiding spots for little guys.
