Marco Rocks

Hey all,

I decided since I am moving to a new duty station that I should set up a tank after not having one for years.

I plan to use Marco dry rocks, I want to seed it with the proper bacteria and some nice corraline. What would you guys suggest?

Honestly....buy marco rocks. Give it a acid bath. Get the tank wet and let it cycle. When cycle is done add a established nice purple rock and it should seed your dead rock.

As said just add a couple pounds of established live to seed the Marco rocks. I used Marco rocks for my last tank build and Fiji LR from a LFS to seed it, just starting to get some purple coraline now.

I just rinsed and soaked my marco rocks over night before setting up the tank, UPS beat the box up good so I had some broken and powdered rock in the mix.
