This is mostly for LadyFSU but I figured I would post for everyone.
The Florida Wildlife Conservation Commision (FWC) is putting on their open House of the Fish and Wildlife Research Institue (FWRI) the weekend of April 19, 20, & 21. This would be great for everyone here with kids to maybe puch them in the direction of marine biology. You can read more about it HERE . I dont know if you have heard about it LadyFSU but this would be great to tell your students about.
They have touch tanks, sharks, all kinds of inverts and fish from the local areas, the manatee group, the dolphin group, seaturtles group, and all kind of other cool things.
