Will this disease end it's cycle in an fishless reef tank? If so , does anyone know the timetable before it's safe to re-introduce fish?

Leave fishless for 8 weeks.

MINIMUM.....I'd go longer if it were me....more like 12.
there is nothing worst than going fallow only to find your new additions come down with the same thing....it stinks to go thru it but in the long run its better to be safe than sorry...

True, minimum 8 weeks.

I went 10 and I got rid of it. Knock on wood.
