Marineland DD Owners ??

I am thinking of getting a Marineland Deep Dimensions tank .
What are the best prices on the just the tankand the tank/stand/canopy combo in the 4 ,5 0r 6 ft length,thanks .

I paid $1400 for my 300 gallon dd with starfire. That price includes the lovely tax here in NY state.

are you guys ordering these tanks directly from the manufacturer? Because my LFS sells marineland but at outrageous prices...I mean they want 2200 for a 260 cube they have in there, and that is without the stand

Depending on where you are in NJ and how far your willing to drive, Tropiquarium in ocean NJ sells their tanks at cost and has the best selection of corals and fish I have ever seen in a LFS. Its worth the ride just to look around.

yeah I live in southern texas, thats not exactly a simple drive lol, I guess I need to try and find someone that will sell me one at cost

A lot of stores will sell aquariums at or near cost, just to get you into the hobby. They will make their money later on live rock, livestock, coral, supplies, etc. I would keep looking around until you find one willing to sell at a decent price.

I paid $1500 for my 300DD Starphire in Michigan. Purchased thru LFS and came from warehouse in NY.

I just picked up a Marineland 220 DD with stand and canopy, for um, free, off of Craiglist. Came out of a foreclosure. I just had to take everything, cleanup my mess, and have sufficient manpower. Lunch for moving crew was however not free.
