Marineland Magnum 250

I have a Marineland Magnum 250 filter that I don't use, do you think is a good idea to convert it to a sand vacuum by attaching a hose to it, or use it maybe like a small carbon or phosban reactor ? Or just put the D$%@%%$$% thing back in the closet ?

you could use it as a sand vacuum. I have done it before with a canister. It will however clog pretty quickly so it's not as easy as one would think. But it is effective.

if you want to sel it i will take it i use them for the micron filter
