Our community of fish is growing larger over the years and out growing the tank... We don't have space for a larger fish tank.
So we're looking for a good home for the maroon clown in an effort to reduce the ever increasing maintenence...
The fish is about 3 inches long and quite pretty. It eats anything from flakes to pellets to frozen food and will readily accept any anenome.
The tank has had no coral or fish additions for over two years now --- after a pain in the butt boute with ick...
During which the fish were removed and treated for two months with hypo salinity until ick free. The tank was fish free for over two months to let the ick run through its life cycle.
No ick or any other health problems have showed themselves since then over two years ago...
So it's a healthy fish for free... just looking for a good home.
It is a little bit agressive towards other fish but we have several smaller fish and it never amounts to harm towards them-just some minor chasing. If you have anemome it will stay close to it and feed the anemone very well...
