This is my first Maroon Clown fish that I bought a few months ago, during the first few weeks I noticed a white velvet like supstance growing out from one of its gills and base of its front fins and I medicated it with copper based meds thinking it would go away after. There was barely any trace of the problem but within maybe two weeks it the problem came back, but this time in both gills!!! I once again treated it but it still came back. I don't know what to do I tried all sorts of meds. but it's not going away, I need suggestions on how to get rid of this problem if it's a problem, I think it might be scar tissue but still??? It's acting like a normal clown fish it eats ok and it doesn't act sick but I'm still worried. I have posted a picture so you can see, sorry the pic isn't very good.
