Maroon clowns

I have a maroon clown that goes beyond the area of his anenome and pushes my live rock and corals around. Do all types of clownfish do this?

not sure all of them do as I have had true percs and they did not do it.Now I have a large female maroon gold stripe clown and she is nasty knocks stuff down all the time

Mine does, and she gets worse as she get's older. I can't put a single thing in my tank anymore. She pretty much owns the whole tank.

thanks, sounds like a common trait amont maroon clowns. When I had a sand bed it would blow that all around as well. Does anyone know if a black white perc will host a ritteri or if they knock stuff around too?

heehee. Yep its maroons. Mine hates things in her 'space' she can pick up REALLY heavy rocks and spit them across the tank. unbelieveable. and I have a barebottom by the nem, then about 1 inch sand bed around that.. all the way to about a 5 inch sand bed near the edges.

I tried putting a tile in tonight but the nem started acting all funny so i took it back out

Nothing unheard of for your maroon to act this way.

semireef... Back to one. it split 3 ways when it was about 15 inches across. i only have a 45 gallon WITH a bucha coral, so i gave two to responsible reefers.

Now my bta is about 10 inches on a happy day... huge agian and its only been a few months!

if i could just get those tenicles to bubble....
