Mars Aqua Black Box. Too Much Too Soon?

I got 3 Mars Aqua 165 watt units to replace my T5 setup. I ended up burning some coral running about 50% 12 hours a day.

Right now I am running with the dimmers all the way on low (just on) blue for 8.5 hr and white 5.5 hr a day.

I am 15" off the water with two lights and one light is about 8" off the water. They are under the stairs and I can't raise the one light any more than that. Tank is 110 gallon 24 deep.

Anyone have experience how much is too much and how long it took to acclimate your tank?

I had 3 mars fixtures mounted 12" off the top and ran them at 50% with no issue on a 6' x 2' x 2' high tank. If you have a 4' tank I would remove one of the lights.
