Have we got some more goodies for MASLAC!
Anthony Calfo is bringing his "C" Journal, the three back issues AND the new issue. This is a great purchase. You can look it over before you buy and/or subscribe. He's trying to get a hold of his new book on Coral Propagation, Vol 2, and he's bringing some posters, and Reef Invertebrates, the book he authored with Bob Fenner. WOW! And then he's going to give us the scoop on Reef Toxicology, " a humorous and helpful look at the potentially harmful and even edible (?) reef tank creatures that we may encounter in the hobby. " There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so bring your questions. "Yo-Yo-Yo! An-taneee... Iva question."
AND ANOTHER THING...
Bob Ross, the owner of Marine Depot, is going to attend the meeting. He's bringing "stuff." I don't know what, but it will be on the raffle table. (I am sooo excited)
AND DON'T FORGET...
Lance Rettig is bringing wholesale items for sale. Bargains Galore (Wasn't that a James Bond character?)
LASTLY BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST... (is it leastly?)
Euro Reef is coming to open for Anthony. They will describe their new products and answer questions. There may be a skimmer on the raffle table or a mystery product. Who knows (I think The Shadow).
AS FOR THE MENU:
Michael and I have racked our brains to think of something suitable. Since Anthony is from Philadelphia (am I making this up?) we're going to have -- Ayyyyy, Yo-Yo-Yo -- PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICHES wid all da trimmins -- onions, peppers, cheese, hoagie rolls, BBQ sauce, hot pepper condiments. OH! There will be chicken for those not of the meat persuasion. And we'll even have a Boca Burger or two for the vegans. There will be a GIANT Caesar salad, again with all the trimmings, Corn on the Cob, Michael's Secret Recipe Baked Beans (Does he look like a dog or what? How did he get the recipe?) And an Ice Cream Sundae Bar for dessert. Soft drinks and coffee/tea. Bring your appetites, bring your swim suits if you'd like, bring your questions, your $$$$ for a spectacular raffle and merchandise sale.
Thank you MASLAC members for your overwhelming response to my plea for RSVPs to the meeting. I know everyone will enjoy the multiple programs and have a great time. We have over 40 people So Far.
