Max-Jet Tunze Stream Mod.

I heard from him yesterday, I just ordered 4 and he said he would get them shipped out this week. I have faith, hope he and his wife are OK

No problem ... not too upset yet. I just don't want $64 paperweights. Wonder why he got shut down?

I will email him and then see what happens I guess.

RC has strick policies, that we may never understand. But i believe it is due to commercial nature, in general forums.

I don't think it helps that anytime someone mentions this mod it is called a "Tunze Stream mod" and Tunze pays to be a sponsor.

I thought it may have been that the selling forums all say no dealers or manufacturers and he would definitely be considered a manufacturer after selling about 30-40 of these kits in just this thread.

Ya think?

There's a difference between DIY and I'll manufacture it and sell it to you.

Yeah, probably because he is selling these and not a sponser of RC

FYI, it has nothing to do with Sponorship. Do you see Tunze selling items on this board?

Sponsorship buys businesses banner ads...Period. It does not allow businesses to use the forums to sell directly to you.

FYI I know alot about sponsorship and dont appreciate condescending people

Absolutely nothing condescending in my message. I was using Tunze as an example to counter your point.

I don't appreciate members being given incorrect information as if it were fact to further inflame a situation.

If you want to continue this dialogue, let's take it offline cpreefguy.

Now back on topic

I got an email from Matt and he said we are still on schedule to get my replacements. He will continue to take care of problems as promised but will need to do so outside of RC to stay within the rules.
The email was from the LutzCnC@zoominternet.net address so I would assume this is the best contact info if you have any further questions or comments to send.

As stated before, I am not spazzing out or anything... just wanted to know what was going on with the impellors and I thought that "moved on" sounded a little ominous.

I will let you guys know when the replacements get here and hoepfully this is the last of the breakage problems for the "Lutz Superflow 1200" kits. (I just made that last part up but feel free to use it if you want Matt)
:D

If you haven't gotten it already you could try sliding the shaft between the tines of a fork and then pulling the shaft out of the bushing (if that is what you mean by endcaps) hopefully it doesn't fly too far and be lost forever. :)

Good Luck,
-- Kevin

Ok i got my replacement

But this time........

I did notice that when i turned it on, it spun the wrong way and sucked water in?

I had to turn on/off several times to get it to spin the right direction

My replacement always spin the right way, I've turned it on and off several times and it always goes the right way. No complaints here, so far.
