Max recommended return pump for AGA 55G with corner overflow

Just as the subject reads. I am looking to replace my RIO PUMP which has performed well for me over the years with a new pump. What pump would you recommend to get the maximum GPH recommened for the tank. It Aquariums up to 110 gallons are fitted with one MegaFlow Overflow and are rated for a maximum flow through of 600 G.P.H. (Using a rated 2,400 G.P.H. pump at a 5 foot head). Can I use a up to a 2400 GPH pump on it with out it overflowing? Thanks for any info....
