Maxi Eating Maxi

I just fragged a bunch of maxis over the weekend. I woke up to find one of the frags being kicked out of an adult red maxi. I pulled him out and the blue maxi is still alive and growing back into a circle.

That's crazy! I can't believe the blue survived. Good to know they aren't canibals.

Yes, I am planning to sell some stuff in the late July. I just fragged all of my maxi minis and my neon green toadstools are growing in. I actually just bought a jet black maxi mini yesterday so I am excited to see it when it is delivered on Wed.

Yes, I thought it was a going to die. But I placed it's slimy body back in the rocky sand and it is making an recovery. No bleaching or death (yet). I will post an after picture later tonight. I have learned they can survive some damage. The cockroach corals of the sea.

How big was the blue one? Dime-nickel size?

Yes, all of the frags are between nickel/quarter size.
