Maxi-Jet 900's

I am looking for 2 Maxi-Jet 900 for my 90 if anyone has a few they are looking to get rid of please let me know.

2 900's for a 90? Might as well get 2 1200's.

I got a 1200 and a SEIO 620 in my 30 and get tons of movement. Very little detritus settling to the sand and not too much movement for softies.

900 instead of 1200 becaus eof the heat they produce

in a 90 gal you could use more than 2 no problem

i had 4 1200s in my 29 gal last year

Chad, wouldn't you have the tank at about 82 all the time? If you could run 4 1200s and not use a chiller. I could use 2 1200s for sps.

I like the 900's because there is not much drop off in terms of gph when compared to the 1200's, but the 900's are cheaper and use considerably less power than the 1200's. I've got a pair of 900's blowing into the backsides of the rock piles in my 120.

I got one blowing into my backside too. Keeps me going during the day. I'm thinking of installing a wavemaker.
