Maxi Mini Anemone and Bio Load Question

I posted this in the newb section but haven't heard back. Any input is appreciated!

I have a 24 gallon Nano cube that has some various corals, around 6 snails, 3 hermits and a clownfish. I am thinking about adding a Maxi Mini (Mini Maxi?) Anemone to the tank and am not sure how Anemones affect the bio load. I don't think this will push it over the top at all but wondering how much impact it will have.

Thanks!

You said various corals? Maxi mini's are very sticky, and can move.

Sooooo if you add one, just know the potential exists for it do do so, which could result in damaged corals. Otherwise, I wouldn't be concerned about bio-load. I could be assuming too much (mine are in a 180) but I don't think they add any more to the bioload than an acan ;) Mine like mysis they catch. They don't need large chunky foods, that's where I would be concerned.

Thanks for the reply. I bought it this morning and have been watching it like a hawk. It seems to have decided on a spot that is a bit too close to my yellow tipped torch than I'm comfortable with. The torch is getting moved tomorrow. I kinda didn't like where it was in the first place so this is a good excuse to get in there and move it.

I bought mysis shrimp to feed it. I'll try feeding it tomorrow and see how it goes!

Just a fyi... I have 3 of them... And they like to stay on a rock island. They do move randomly on their island. If you have the real estate to isolate them (they can touch each other with no problem) with a stretch of sand between their island, and any rock with corals, you won't have to stress so much!

:) Enjoy :)
