MaxiJet 1200 Mod - EcoMod or SureFlow?

Gonna mod my MaxiJets for my new 125g

Which one is better and why?

Sureflow, I heard more complaints regarding noise with the Eco, I went with the Sureflow and they have run great.

I vote SureFlow....

1)It includes a mounting bracket (mine is on a Swirlerstein, so no need).

2)Better injection molding IMHO.

3)Greater area behind the propeller is open to draw from.

Overall after DIYing several and owning both mods, the Sureflow is the better deal. The $5 you save for the EcoMod is worth not hassling with mounting the EcoMod.

I have had better luck with the Ecomod. The sure flow rattles too much. Also, when I place my hand in front of each, the Eco feels like more water is flowing.

However, with that being said, I have dumped the MJ's and put the Eco props in my Koralia 4's and the flow is even more than the MJ's.

bump...need to buy new mods and i am also wanting to know which is liked better...
