Over the past couple of weeks my maxima clam has been pulling itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s mantle in. This morning it was all the way inside the shell. When I went to pick it up there was probably 20 bristle worms underneath it which I removed immediately. Now the mantle is still inside the shell even though the shell is open.
My water parameters are very good. I have been feeding extra phytoplankton recently. I drip kalk at night with a small amount of iodine supplement. I have a 400w halide. I have a Croatia clam that is doing just fine.
Is there anything else that I can be doing?
