Maxima ID

Looking for some input to ID my 9" Maxima clam. I got this off of a fellow reefer about 5 months ago. I was told it was a golden tear drop but all the pics of those I have seen are brown. This is more of a purple.
LMK what you think.

Top-down view would be better. Also, many of these terms ("Teardrop") are subjective and invented by vendors rather than taxonimists.

Thanks, I will try and get a top down shot. My canopy does not come off, but I will give it a shot.

Here is a little better pic: I couldn't get a top down due to my canopy so I moved clam and rock it is on.
