We've decided to entertain the thought of selling the tank once its empty instead of storing it. It has been up since Dec 26. It is a glasscages.com 115g reefready with the starfire glass on the front three viewing sides. Zero scratches, foamed back. Stand and canopy are wood with a honey oak finish. Stand has been modified with a removable side panel to allow for removal/installation of the included 38 gallon baffled sump. Stand also has rubber matting on the inside bottom and has been lined with sound proofing foam to cut down on noise. Tank is plumbed with PVC (1 drain and 1 return split via loc-line into 2. Return pump is a mag-drive 9.5 (3 months old). Light fixture is no-name with 4 x 65 w actinic PCs and 2 x 250w DE MH w/electronic ballasts. Halide bulbs are about 2 months old and are phx 14ks. Other pieces of eqt will be available for sale in the event the tank sells/with the tank sale. We are not looking to part things out right now. Whole package or nothing at the moment.
Prices new were these:
Tank: $700
Stand: $250
Canopy: $200
Sump: $85 + parts for baffles
plumbing supplies: $50
Light fixture:$379
Phx bulbs: $140
Stand modification supplies: $60
Mag 9.5: $100
Total new: $1970++
Total here only $1600 as a total package.
I absolutely LOVE this setup and have never had anyone say a bad thing about it. LMK if you or anyone you know may be interested.
Obviously this won't be available until after I sell the livestock off (unless you want to work a deal that includes the live rock and critters).
