maybe disease, maybe not, IDK yet

today I added a yellow gorgonian to my nano reef, as well as adding 2 fiddler crabs.

I also fragged my pom pom xenia

4-5 hrs later...

my bangagi cardinal (carl) was found laying on his side at the bottom of the tank gasping!

i moved him a little and he perked up and swam around then went back to laying on his side gasping, he did not eat either when the tank was fed

so i did a water test:

salinty: 1.024
nitrates: 0
nitrites: 0

no other fish display any signs of not being normal

puzzling, he has been in this tank for a month and has always been dazed during the day, but very active in the evening and at night

any ideas?

i guess its a moot point now cause he died, darn weird though cause he was happy and doing well. his death came on fast however, very fast. by the time i realized he was in trouble he died...suckage
