Just picked up a trio from ABC today. What a beautiful group of fish!

I'm hoping ABC comes up with a "rewards program" soon...

If anyone bought a solo one of these and is "disappointed" in their lack of display, let me know and I'd be happy to give it a new home in a harem.

BTW, I love how ABC always has great looking fish and never tries to oversell anything. How lucky we are to have an LFS that doesn't suck (coming from NYC where I started in the hobby, things were VERY different).

Besides beautiful, these fish are the masters of hiding. They're still getting used to the new tank today and I could barely any of them after 10 min of searching. Will try to grab a photo after they're out and swimming around tomorrow.

I've learned quite a lot about this fish in the last few months. Once a juvenile begins the transition to male, there is no stopping it. If you have three the same size and they all closely resemble each other, one will become a male and you're in business. My male was single for quite a while as the juvies were difficult to find. Since I was able to add a female, his coloration has intensified a lot, especially the blue stripes. Congrats on your find; they are among my favorite fish.
