Meet "Little Blue"

"Little Blue" or LB as named by my kids is about 1" long. We've had it for about a month now and it's doing great. Currently it's in my frag tank (upgraded to a 30 breeder this weekend) with a couple other "friends". LB will stay there until it grows a little bigger. The frag tank is in my home office and all the fish have been watching me all day.

The cool part is that this tank is where I grow grape calupra (sp?) to feed my other fish. LB is starting to pick at it, so it's a great grazing tank for such a small fish.

LB hangs out with the two clowns all day. The Bangai cardinal (one of two) arrived for the picture and then swam away.

DOH, I know that. Not sure what I was thinking. That will teach me to post while talking on the phone. I missed part of the call too. Stupid Brain!

The tang is fabulous, I'm curious how much of the grape he eats. My yellow thinks of grape as the food of last resort. Much prefers chaeto, nori or blanched broccoli

nwrogers - Yes. When I saw this little guy I new I had to have him.

dalbrecht - Right now the grape's are bigger than the Hippo's mouth, so it's picking on the stems and points of new growth.

As for the love of Grape, in my main tank I have a Naso and Foxface that much prefer Grape over chaeto. I base this on providing both in equal amounts and seeing how long each lasts. The Grape is eaten quickly, the chaeto lasts much longer. Nori is eaten the fastest.
