Just a travel note for those of you up north coming from the Maitland-I4 area:
The new Matiland connector is now open from I-4 Maitland intersection to the 429 (Western Beltway). Maitland used to dead end at Orange Blossom Trail, but it now goes all the way to the 429. You can avoid the downtown and east-west traffic and there is not much traffic on the new part yet. Things are not completely done at the 429 intersection, so it drops to a local road and one stoplight, then ramps back to the 429 going south. Take the SR 535 exit when you see the Lowe's on the right, turning left onto SR 535.
