Over the course of this year, I've slowly been losing most of my softies. Lots of very cool mushrooms, and a leather. The damage starts with what looks like a fish bite mark or two, and then more and more and more until theere's nothing left. I've caught and sumped various fish and crabs and the problem persists. I've spent this weekend setting up video cameras on the softies that are currently shrinking, hoping to catch a fish in the act.
So far I haven't caught any fish in the act, but while staring at one of my increasingly-angry rhodactis shrooms tonight, I thought I saw a tentacle... crawl to the left!
There are flatworms on my shroom, and they don't look at all like the usual red planaria (been there, done that, more-than-once). And the freshwater-dip sure enough yielded not-red-planaria-looking flatworm bodies:
Any ID on what these guys are? Could they be part of my problem?
