melanarus wrasse sleep?

I've had a melanarus wrasse for a few weeks now. He sleeps in the sand bed, but I don't see him this morning. I usually see him in the morning(although, it's only on weekends when I don't have work). Do they have habit of sleeping for long periods?

Some times I dont see mine for days... Always comes out after a few days though.

he's awake! Must be sleeping in because of the weekend!

Mine too..Sometimes he sleeps a little later than normal. At first I was worried about this,but i'm used to it now as he always shows up sooner or later. It's a great fish and an excellent grazer.
