Not to hijack the thread, what amount of light are those under? You happen to have par numbers from moving to led?

This is a awesome coral Henry you have to see the polyps on the frag i got from you lat year I swear they are the size of a pencil erased when open

No problem Pascal, I'm running 2 119 watt led fixtures. Bulb ratio is 3 blues to 1 white. I did post the par values in my rebuild thread. i'll see if I can dig it up. The top of the colony is around 8in. off the bottom of the tank.

Posts: 2,080 Okay, So Mark Klier,Jeff Lucas and Mike(philly) came over this morning and did some par readings on my tank..
Hre they are as follows..
Just the Blues:
At the fixture-1800
At the top of my rock stack(13 in. from the bottom of the tank)-180
At the shelves (8 in. from the bottom)110
At the sand-90

With both Blue and White on:
At the fixture- Unreadable(higher then the meter could read)
At the waters surface-980
At the top of the rock stack(13 in. from the bottom)-250
At the shelves(8 in. from the bottom)150
At the sand-135...
