I have a 34g cad and the ballast box for the HQI below my tank stand is kicking out enough heat to burn me when i touch it. I realize there are only a few 34g cad owners right now but maybe someone has had a similar issue...
i actually burned my hand on the end opposite the switch when i touched it
the metal was F*****G HOT...but only that opposite end (top-bottom and sides of said end)
so i put it on a 3$ metal stand from wally world to get it off the wood bottom of the tank stand and bought a 4$ fan to blow right on it...anyones MH/HQI ballast box heat up like this?
